Alejandra Gonzalez
The road to becoming a physician has been one of Alejandra’s greatest feats. Her college experience began at Utah Valley University where she studied Biology then went on to complete medical school at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. During medical school she had many formative experiences and developed a passion for working with underserved populations. She had the fortunate opportunity to help with several community organizations to promote health and awareness in the Mexican population.
Currently she is working under the supervision of Dr. Strebel and his partners as a patient advocate. They have inspired her to become a physician that possesses more than just the core competencies in the diagnosis and management of various diseases. They have also taught her to be fully committed to becoming a physician that focuses on uplifting their community. Having the privilege to work at the clinic has granted her a wealth of medical knowledge and has allowed her to develop both her learning and teaching skills, while also nurturing her academic interests. She hopes to continue learning everyday and successfully become an OBGYN resident as it provides the chance to have a positive and lasting impact on women’s health.

Jonathan Hernandez
Jonathan Hernandez comes from a humble upbringing growing up in a small suburb in California. He attended undergrad at the University of California, Irvine earning a BA in Sociology and a minor in Biology with the vision of becoming a healthcare provider. While in college he had firsthand experience in giving primary care to those less fortunate living in rural towns in Honduras. There he worked side by side with doctors, nurses, and fellow students providing basic healthcare. Jonathan started his medical career by attending the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. While in graduate school in Mexico he continued his altruistic motives in school programs like PMC, which was designed to provide medical care to people in small communities. He obtained his MD degree in 2017 and is currently continuing his journey as a patient advocate in this clinic, gaining more knowledge and experience under the guidance of Dr. Kord Strebel and his inspiring staff. Ultimately, he is aiming to meet and collaborate with other professionals in the medical field that will enrich and aid him in becoming a better physician.
